Sana at Stowe treats all substance use disorders as well as co-occurring mental health conditions.
We offer two levels of care:
Medically Supervised Withdrawal Management (detox)
The care and resources used to get a person through detox safely are referred to as “withdrawal management.” By making this process as smooth and comfortable as possible, withdrawal management can prevent relapse and encourage sobriety. As you begin to see clearly again, we focus on transition to the next level of care.
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment allows individuals to focus 100 percent on their recovery without distractions. Daily counseling and recovery education will help you understand the root causes of substance use disorders and learn the skills needed to change your life for the better. Different types of talk therapy form the foundation of residential rehab, allowing our clients to learn to communicate better with themselves and those around them.

Sana sits on 4.25 acres of private, beautifully landscaped wooded area in the Green Mountains of Stowe, Vermont.
Just outside our door are stunning views, tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness studio, serenity walk and hiking trails.

Our Home in Stowe
Our four distinct seasons offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Whether you want to cozy up by the fire or go snowshoeing, get your hands dirty in our vegetable garden, practice yoga in the sun, or watch the leaves turn brilliant shades of autumn, we can accommodate you. We understand that recovery means finding joy again in everyday life and having fun is an integral part of the process.
Cuisine
Sana’s cuisine is designed to nourish and heal. Using principles of integrative health and nutritional psychiatry, our food reflects the fundamental idea that there is a relationship between what you eat, how you feel and how you ultimately behave.
The menu is created in collaboration with an award-winning chef and a Doctor of Nursing who specializes in nutrition and addiction.
Fitness and Activities
Our fitness and yoga studio is equipped with cardio machines and nautilus equipment. Yoga classes are held 5-7 days per week.
We also have an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a serenity walk.
Executive Workspace
Our program is customized to meet the unique needs and challenges of executives and professionals in the legal, medical and financial fields.
Sana’s concierge services can be built around your needs and work commitments, so that your time away from home and the office is kept to a minimum. We have an executive workspace onsite with to ensure you can stay in touch and connected.
